Vegas For The Holidays

Updated: Dec 12, 2024

I feel like every year Las Vegas gets more and more festive for the holidays. With so many seasonal events and Christmas pop-up bars, I wanted to compile a list of some of the spots (bars and otherwise) to check out this holiday season.

  1. Miracle on Spring Mountain at The Sand Dollar Lounge

One of the original pop-up bars in Vegas, they offer fun Christmas cocktails in a beautifully decorated setting. Open 3pm-4am daily, and no reservations required.

  2. The Golden Tiki

The Iconic tiki bar, The Golden Tiki, gets all decked out for the holidays and they have a

huge seasonal cocktail menu. They are also offering a special pop-up within the bar, called Christmas in a Clam, held every Sunday in December with a few extra special drink options. They are open 24 hours and reservations are recommended.

  3. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

One of my favorite free activities in Las Vegas, the Conservatory at Bellagio celebrates the holidays with their seasonal display until 1/3/25 and open 24 hours.

  4. Todo Navidad at Todo Bien Tiki Tequileria

A new pop-up bar for this year, Todo Bien in Uncommons gets in the spirit with a specialty menu featuring holiday cocktails and shooters. They are closed Mondays, and open from 4:30pm Tuesday-Sunday.

  5. Cosmopolitan Ice Rink

An ice rink takes over the rooftop pool at the Cosmopolitan under mid-January. Skating cost ranges from $20-30, but you're welcome to enter the pool area and hang out and watch at no charge. They do a light snow shower every 30 minutes, and they have different areas that offer cocktails and hot chocolate.

  6. Winter at the Terrace at Green Valley Ranch

GVR transforms their outdoor lounge area to a winter wonderland complete with cozy "igloos" and firepits. They serve a variety of specialty cocktails, a hot chocolate cart, small bites, and sweet treats. While reservations are not required, there is a food and beverage minimum depending on your seating preference. Open daily from 4pm.

  7. Enchant Christmas

A festive experience for the whole family, Enchant offers a magical light maze, ice rink, food and drinks, shopping, caroling, mini golf, and of course, Santa. Tickets range from $25-41 depending on the time you go, and it runs through December 29th.

  8. Ethel M Chocolates Holiday Cactus Garden

The Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson is another great spot for holiday cheer. Stroll through their decorated cactus garden with beautiful lights at only a $3 entrance fee that goes to the Nevada Food Bank. You can also buy a delicious hot chocolate during your visit, or stop inside their shop for all sorts of specialty chocolates and treats. Open most nights through January 4th.

  9. Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

Another great activity for families, Magical Forest is decked out with tons of twinkling lights and Christmas trees. Enjoy food and drinks, rides and carnival games, including a mini golf course, train ride and more. Tickets are $26 and they're open from 5:30pm most nights through the end of December.

  10. The Nightmare Before Xmas at Mas Por Favor

A pop-up within a speakeasy, Mas Por Favor starts this experience right before Halloween and runs through December 26th. Reservations are recommended, and they offer fun themed drinks and food. They also allow children on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-2pm.

  11. Bad Elf at Shady Grove Lounge

This pop-up takes over Shady Grove Lounge in Silverton Casino. Specialty cocktails and snacks are available in a festively decorated space. Available online only, get tickets to their Bad Elf Experience for $25, which includes two cocktails of your choice, a souvenir glass, and a Bad Elf Puzzle Hunt for your chance to win a Silverton staycation.

  12. Seasonal Cocktails at Las Vegas Distillery

For a limited time, try out the holiday drinks over at Las Vegas Distillery located in Henderson. Their Coquito and Hot Buttered Rum are seriously incredible. They also have a tiki drink with cookie butter served in a gingerbread man mug.

Which one are you most excited about? Let me know if there's a holiday activity in Las Vegas that's your favorite that I may have missed. Cheers!
