AREA15 is a fun, immersive, psychedelic, and out-of-this-world Las Vegas destination that is really unlike anything else! Just minutes from the Strip, AREA15 is a multi-area complex featuring different restaurants, virtual reality experiences, art installations, and most importantly to me- BARS! I've been to nearly every bar AREA15 has to offer, so here's a list of my favorites that are absolutely worth visiting!

  1. Oddwood Bar- Just look for the giant, glowing maple tree in the middle of the indoor complex. Their menu has fun and whimsical cocktails with cool presentations. Be sure to scan the QR code on their menu for a SECRET MENU!!

  2. John Wick Experience- This is my personal favorite bar at AREA15. There's actually two bars inside the experience, both of which you can visit without doing the actual John Wick Experience/escape room. The first being The Continental, which you enter into upon arrival, and acts as a waiting area for those participating in the experience. They have elegant, well-crafted cocktails that are spirit-forward, yet balanced. The second bar is a speakeasy which you can enter through an unassuming door in the gift shop. The Tunnel carries a more clubby vibe with loud music, colorful lights, graffiti, and a different drink menu that's a little less classy, and a little more trashy (but in the best way possible really).

  3. Asylum Bar & Arcade- If you like to be more active while sipping on cocktails, Asylum is a fun spot! They have a wide variety of old school arcade games, pool tables, skee-ball, pinball, and more. Their bar has draft beer (including some local options), boozy slushies, and cocktails creatively named with video game themes. There's also plenty of tables and drink holders around, which definitely comes in handy while playing.

  4. Liftoff- Maybe not for those afraid of heights, but this open air ride is slow and gentle like a hot air balloon and provides some nice views of Vegas. Perfect when the weather is nice! They have a bar before entering the ride, and the best part is you can take your drink with you during your trip too.

  5. KAIA- One of the few restaurants inside AREA15, they specialize in sushi and ramen, and it's pretty good! They have a few craft cocktails that are more light and refreshing options, and they also have mocktails and a small sake selection.

There's still a couple bars I didn't get to, so I'll be going back soon! These bars listed above were definitely my favorites for their atmosphere, overall experience, unique-ness, and quality of the drinks themselves. Give them a try next time you visit AREA15.
